Those wishing to play in squad mode can be randomly assigned to a team or build a squad of their own friends within the game.Īfter choosing a server and play mode, players are then loaded onto a helicopter to head to their deserted island. Players then choose which mode they wish to play in, whether it be solo, in a duo with a friend, or squad mode, with multiple players making up a team. Once players download and open the Rules of Survival app, they’re instructed to choose a server to play on, by choosing the one closest to their actual location. This app can be found in both the App Store and the Google Play Store. Rules of Survival is free to download, but offers a range of in-app purchases.

The last player standing is the survivor in Rules of Survival. Players are dropped on a deserted island, handily equipped with weapons caches and other useful items, and must battle other players for survival.
